The Light of Evanor

Creator: Scott Malthouse

Type: Solo Adventure

Description: An unnatural darkness has enveloped Misty Vale’s north-most reaches, covering the Magna Woods and its surrounding areas with a baleful gloom. At the centre of it all is a hapless mallard called Quatz. Within the ruins of the ancient demonwrought fortress of Galaz-gesh Quatz accidentally unearthed the Dread Eye, a jet black jewel of forgotten power. The flustered mallard unwittingly
released the darkness within the Dread Eye after reading aloud the runes that covered its malignant surface.

Now the infernal magic within the jewel slowly spreads its loathsome disease over the Misty Vale, twisting trees and plants into unholy designs and warping common beasts into sinister monsters.

There is but one hope: the Staff of Evanor. Crafted in ancient times the staff’s light was created to
annihilate the wielder of the Dread Eye. Lore says that the staff was broken and lost. They say each part can be found in four locations: The Banished Temple, the Moon Dolmen, the Tower of Everfrost, and the Cave of Madness.

Now is the time for you alone to set out and reforge the staff, bringing an end to the demonic darkness once and for all.

The Light of Evanor is a solo campaign for Dragonbane with a brand new mechanic. The Campaign Threat counts down the time until the darkness spreads over all the Misty Vale. Can you vanquish the Dread Eye in time?

The Caravan’s Secret

Creator: Robing Fjärem

Type: Adventure

Description: The Caravan’s Secret is an action-packed adventure for Dragonbane, where the party travels through a perilous desert filled with dangers and promise of great rewards. The adventure is structured in a way that makes it easy to run with minimal prep and can be run in a single session or two or fleshed out into a longer adventure.

It takes the party from a resplendent oasis, through a dragon-infested desert, across the ruins of a long dead elf civilization, and finally to the great city of magic and astronomy: Akkhar. On the road, they will encounter old civilizations, beautiful vistas, mythical monsters, surprise encounters, and many tough challenges.

Salthaven

Creator: Robing Fjärem

Type: Adventure

Description: The quiet fishing town of Salthaven, located on the island with the same name, is suddenly plagued by fierce storms. No ships are able to leave or dock due to the relentless waves pummeling the shoreline. There are rumors that people have been attacked by terrible monsters washing up on the shore. Panic is spreading among the populace and a sinister marsh cult is quick to take advantage of this by recruiting the scared townsfolk to their cause. The town council is scrambling to figure out what happened and will pay a handsome sum to anyone who assists in solving the situation. The survival of Salthaven is at stake!

This is an island adventure toolbox and setting by Robin Fjärem. It’s a buffet of content for the GM who may use it to run the main adventure or to inspire their own creations. It was originally written for Cairn (the game by Yochai Gal), but has been adapted to Dragonbane with a new layout. Finally the mariner of the party will have something to do!

Additional Treasures

Creator: Philip Reed

Type: Card Expansion

Description: Expand your reward options with Additional Treasures

This deck of 54 illustrated treasure cards may be used alongside, or in place of, those treasure cards included in the core game.

Additional Monster Attacks

Creator: Philip Reed

Type: Rules Supplement

Description: As detailed in the core rules, monsters in the game do not make attacks in the way we normally encounter in a fantasy roleplaying game. Instead, most monsters (goblins, orcs, and skeletons are an exception, and as such are not covered in this work) make a special attack that automatically hits.

“Each monster has a unique set of monster attacks, which are summarized in a table. The GM rolls or chooses an attack from this table when it is the monster’s turn to attack.”

In the game, each of the dozen monsters that follow this rule are given a table with up to six entries. This works for a time, but gamemasters will find themselves looking for new attack results for these monsters. (Especially if a particular monster is used repeatedly in the campaign.)

Additional Monster Attacks includes new attack tables for those dozen monsters. To expand on the gamemaster’s choices even more, each table includes up to six entries. Between the core rules and this third-party supplement, gamemaster’s now have a total of up to twelve different attack options (depending on the monster) for each of the dozen monsters in the core rules.

Additional Spellcasting: Rare Spells

Creator: Philip Reed

Type: Rules Supplement

Description: Greetings, spellcasters! Within this PDF you will find six new magic tricks and 22 new spells. All of the spells described on the following pages are considered “rare” spells, meaning that finding a teacher or grimoire from which to learn any one of these spells will be as difficult and challenging as the gamemaster wishes.

A dozen of the spells directly address the game’s six conditions: Angry, Dazed, Disheartened, Exhausted, Scared, and Sickly. For each condition, there is a spell that removes that condition and a spell that bestows that condition on any enemy. Removing and applying conditions through magic isn’t exactly simple, but these spells will prove to be quite valuable over the course of an adventure.

The remaining ten spells are a grab bag of effects, with spells that affect durability, grant the mage the power to topple a foe using only arcane powers, and even a spell that plays with the core game’s hunger rules being only a few of the effects you will find in these pages.

Link: DrivethruRPG

Additional Spellcasting: Necromancy

Creator: Philip Reed

Type: Rules Supplement

Description: There is power in death . . . and greater power still in undeath. Necromancers hunger for power and are willing to do anything to satisfy that consuming hunger. Necromancers are almost always evil, though there may exist a handful of good necromancers who study this art so that they may better combat the evils of the world.

Within this work you will find four new magic tricks and 27 new spells. These are merely my ideas on the matter, and you should feel free to tweak the spells as you wish.

Additional Journeys

Creator: Philip Reed

Type: Rules Supplement

Description: The adventure book included in the game’s core rules provides the gamemaster with random encounter ideas for five different places in the Misty Vale. With six encounters for each of the detailed locations, it won’t take long to exhaust those ideas.

Additional Journeys comes to the rescue with eight to ten new encounter ideas for each of those five places in the Misty Vale . . . plus encounters for two other locations!

Exploration Expansion

Creator: Luca Piancastelli Marques

Type: Rules Supplement

Description: There isn’t much in common between the Misty Vale’s murky forest, derelict ruins, and hope-devouring swamps, and the vast dried dunes inhabited by the embalmed dead, mothers of thirst and hunger – so there shouldn’t be a reason why, when traveling, you have a chance to be stung by wasps in both!

Not all travel is made the same. Whether your tracks are chock-full of wacky shenanigans or merciless mishaps, there is something here to help you build a more unique exploration for your players. Add a multitude of traits to an environment to diversify the mirth and mayhem you’ll face while traversing it.

The Alchemist’s Fire

Creator: Travis Galloway

Type: Adventure

Description: “The raven came out of the blue. I hadn’t talked to Solomon in almost a decade and I assumed I never again would. We fought, you see. A long time ago. I said some things I regret… Did things too. I was older than him. Thought I knew better. But that was a long time ago, and Sol, he—”

Holding back tears, the old Alchemist pounds his cane to the ground.  “—he asked for my help. You must go. I, I’m too old. Too… You must go in my stead. You must make sure my brother is okay—”

Can you withstand the heat?

The Alchemist’s Fire is an open-ended scenario you can easily drop into your ongoing Dragonbane campaign, or combine with other SISTERS THREE adventures (coming soon!) to create a rich, cohesive narrative.

Will you help two brothers reconcile their past sins, while perhaps learning of a darker, more sinister plot?
