Co-founder and CEO of Free League Publishing. He started writing roleplaying games at 12, the first one based on the resistance against the Nazi occupation of Norway in WW2. Tomas has a professional background as a foreign news journalist, reporting from the Middle East and other conflict zones. He later moved into gaming as a product manager at Paradox Interactive, before Free League became his full-time endeavour. A lifelong fan of the Swedish postapocalyptic Mutant franchise, Tomas championed and designed Mutant: Year Zero, one of Free League’s first hits as well as the foundation for the award-winning Year Zero rules engine. He is also the lead designer of the Forbidden Lands RPG, the Crusader Kings board game, the official ALIEN RPG, and the upcoming new edition of Twilight: 2000.
Tomas is married and lives with his two kids and a bunch of cats. Tomas shares his time between Stockholm and a cottage in the archipelago outside the Swedish capital.
