Nils Hintze is the internationally renowned game author of the praised Nordic Horror RPG Vaesen RPG, the multiple award-winning Tales from the Loop RPG set in an alternate 80s and the Things from the Flood RPG set in an alternate 90´s. He has also written content for the award-winning fantasy RPG Forbidden Lands and has written adventures and a campaign for the Swedish RPG Oktoberlandet.
Being a professional psychologist, Hintze strives to create scenarios that allow the players to go deep into their character’s mind and focus on the character interactions. He encourages the players to challenge themselves and explore their relationships, as they handle dangerous situations and solve mysteries. The conflicts in his games are often based on personal dilemmas, where excitement and horror are mixed with humor.
Hintze is educated in creative writing and has worked as a writer for the last 15 years, writing adventures for tabletop roleplaying games, articles, reviews as well as texts for the theatre. He is also one of the members of the Swedish podcast Podcon, and he is always up for trying out new games.
