Game designer, writer & partner at Free League Publishing. Mattias, or “Matti” to friends, got into role-playing games in the early 80-ies and never got out. He co-founded classic Swedish game studio Järnringen that merged with Free League Publishing in 2018. Mattias´career has taken him many places, from a B.S. in Science and working as a physiotherapist, to Paradox Interactive as a producer and later as COO. He designed the first edition of Coriolis (from which Free League Publishing took its name), and co-designed the dark fantasy TTRPG Symbaroum.
Mattias lives with his family in Värmdö outside Stockholm.
